Some Features of Development of Sealing Rubber Compounds for Service under Cold Climate – Petrova N.N. (P. 2).

High concentrations of plasticizers is shown to be ineffective to increase the sealing rubbers’ frost resistance. The use of rubber blends of high oil (fluoroelastomers) and frost (polyisoprene) resistance provide the possibility to develop rubber compounds of compromising combination of required characteristics. Application of zeolite, fluoro-isoprene adduct and some process methods results in the increase of frost resistance without the decrease of oil resistance.

Effect of the Length of Synthesis of Polyacrylamide Hydrogels on Their Structure and Properties – Lopatin V.V., Askadsky A.A., Berestnev V.A., Vasil’ev V.G., Nikiforova G.V., Kurskaya E.A. (P. 6).

Stress relaxation, viscosity, swelling and biochemical properties of polyacrylamide hydrogels containing 95–97 % of water produced at different synthesis time have been studied. Kernels of Boltzmann – Volterra equation were derived to describe stress relaxation and swelling processes. Nonmonotone changes of cross-link density, calculated from equilibrium swelling data, with synthesis time are considered as a result of physical cross-link formation in addition to chemical ones. The data obtained open the possibility to predict mechanical and biochemical properties of gels and chose the best length of synthesis.

Effect of Addition of Soy Proteins on Properties of Rubber Compound and Vulcanized Rubbers Based on SKI-3 – Semenov A.N., Kashina A.A., Bikbov T.M., Miroshnikov Yu.P., Potapov E.E. (P. 11).

Effect of mechanical addition of soy protein and flour on vulcanization parameters of rubber compounds and stress-strain properties of vulcanized rubbers based on SKI-3 has been studied. Addition of soy protein and flour results in decrease of vulcanization time, don’t effect stress-strain properties of raw rubber compounds and results in increase of modulus under high deformation and strength of vulcanized rubbers.

Plastication and Structure-Formation of Blends of Butadiene Acrylonitrile Rubber and Polyvinylchloride in Presence of Chlorine Containing Substances – Mamedov Sh. M. (P. 14).

Effect of mechanical plastication and heating in presence of chlorine containing substances and ZnO on structure and properties of polyblends are studied. Concentration of sol-fraction and the number of cross-links as well as viscosity and strength properties have been measured.

Effect of Microstructure of Carbon Black Surface on the Strength and Electro Conductive Properties of Rubbers – Nikitin Yu.N., Kornev A.E. (P. 16).

Content and properties of carbon black/rubber gel as well as strength and electro conductivity of vulcanized rubber are studied. Effect of anthracene, composition of vulcanizing system, and milling is shown.

Efficiency of the Application of Highporouse Carbon Black Together with the Other Fillers – Nikitin Yu.N., Monaeva L.F., Khodakova S.Ya., Rodionov V.A. (P. 19).

Strength and electro conductivity of different rubbers filled with high porous carbon black together with the carbon black of other types have been studied. Application of this carbon black (20–30 %) results in the increase of both electro conductivity (on an order of magnitude) and strength (on 10 – 20 %) of filled rubbers. It is connectable with the penetration of small particles of the main filler in the pores of highporouse one. The different effect in rubbers of different nature is shown.

The Ways of Improvement of Mechanical Properties of Dynamically Vulcanized Thermoplastic Elastomers – Vol’fson S.I., Yarullin R.S., Sabirov R.K. (P. 22).

Two methods of modification of components of TPR based on butadiene acrylonitrile rubbers and polypropylene are under consideration. The first way is modification of polypropylene by oligoether of 5-nonbornen-2,3-dicarboxilic acid. The second one is modification of surface of carbon black used as a filler by water-soluble polymers as well as its ozonolysis. Both methods of modification results in improvement of mechanical properties of TPR containing butadiene acrylonitrile rubbers of different acrylonitrile content without decrease of resistance to benzine and toluene.

Structure and Properties of Polyolefin Thermoplastic Elastomer Materials – Abbasov A.M., Abbasova L.M., Bilalov Ya. M. (P. 25).

Different ways of producing of TPR based on ethylene propylene rubber and polypropylene are presented and the effect of composition on relaxation processes as well as strength properties is shown.

The Modeling of Vulcanization Process of Balk Rubber Articles for Ship Building and the Ways of Its Intensification – Kudin I.I., Voskresenskii A.M., Krasovskii V.N. (P. 28).

Models of different processing ways providing the possibility of intensification of vulcanization process of balk rubber articles are under consideration. Calculation of mould filling has been performed with the use of early described theory of anisothermic axisimmetric flow of polymer materials. With the use of equation of heat conductivity by calculation of kinetics of temperature change in different points of rubber compound the best way of process intensification is suggested.
