Synthesis of conductive carbon black and coagulation of its aerosol upon filtering of aerosol flow in a layer of carbon granules were studied. Physicochemical properties of the test sample of conductive carbon black were compared to those of its foreign analogs.

Electrical Conductivity of Rubbers Filled with Carbon Black – Razdyakonova G.I. (P24. )

The state-of-the-art studies on the application of conductive carbon black in rubbers are analyzed. Experimental data concerning the effect of carbon black specific surface area, functional composition and structure of its particles on the volume resistivity of powder and rubbers are presented.

Raman Spectroscopy Study of Conductive Nanodisperse Carbon – Shaitanov A.G., Surovikin Yu.V., Morozov A.D., Rezanov I.V. (P.32 )

Microstructure of nanodisperse carbon particles were studied by means of transmission electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction, and Raman spectroscopy. Changes in the parameters of Raman bands and interplanar distances d002 in the graphite-like layers of particles under steam activation at 1150°Ñ and their correlation to changes in electrical conductivity were found. Parameters of D-band can be used to create the identification system for nanodisperse carbon.

Morphology of crystallites of particles of different carbon black grades and rheological properties of model dispersion were studied by means of different methods. The ability of high-dispersity fillers UM to structure formation was shown.

Effect of the Carbon Black Functional Composition on Interfacial Layers in a Rubber Medium – Razdyakonova G.I., Kiseleva E.A. (P.40 )

Effect of the type of functional groups on the surface of carbon black particles on adsorption characteristic has been studied. Activation energy of sorption of polyisoprene macromolecules on the oxidized surface of carbon black is higher than that on the degassed surface and depends on the concentration of oxygen functional groups. Selective sorption of the low-molecular fractions of polyisoprene on the carbon surface containing oxygen functional groups was shown. Dimensions of polyisoprene adsorption layers depend on the structure of functional groups.

The disperse composition of nanoglobular carbon black at coagulation of aerosol particles and disaggregation of powders in aerosol flow was studied by means of rotary dispersion analyzer. Quantitative characteristics of aerosol of carbon black samples of different physicochemical properties were calculated.

A two-step treatment of atmospheric effluents from by-product coke wastes in carbon black production was studied. Conditions providing the efficient hydrocarbon vapor recovery with the use of synthetic carbon sorbent were shown.

On the Replacement of Channel Carbon Black K-354 in the Rubber Formulations for Technical Rubber Goods – Razdyakonova G.I., Morozov Yu.L., Kanauzova A.A., Rakhmatulin T.T., Fomina L.G., Likholobov V.A., Reznichenko S.V. (P.52 )

A comparative study of new carbon black P-354 and channel carbon black K-354 in compounds based on butadiene acrylonitrile and butyl rubber was performed. Physicochemical properties of carbon black samples, processing properties of rubber compounds, physical and mechanical properties of rubbers and their stability in aggressive media were studied. Results show that in rubber compounds K-354 can be replaced by the new carbon black P-354.

Effect of series-produced carbon black brands and their oxidized modifications on mechanical and in particular, vibration dynamic properties of technical rubbers based on SBR were studied. The adhesion strength and dynamic fatigue of the rubber-cord system containing dispersion of carbon black in the dipping layer were studied. Aramid cord dipped with the compound containing carbon black provides the best properties of the rubber/cord system.

Nanodisperse Carbon-Based Sorbent Modified by Poly-N-Vinilpyrrolidone – P’yanova L.G., Baklanova O.N., Likholobov V.A., Knyazheva O.A., Sedanova A.V. (P.70 )

Modification of mesoporous nanodisperse carbon-based sorbent by dipping of solution of N-vinylpyrrolidone with initiator and followed polymerization was performed. Properties of the resulting samples were studied using a complex of physicochemical methods. Antibacterial and disintoxication properties of prolonged action of modified carbon sorbent were shown.
