On Effect of Modification Temperature on Properties of cis-1,4-Polybutadiene – Akhmetov I.G., Kubanov K.M., Vagizov A.M. (P 4 )
Effect of modification temperature on properties of cis-1,4-polybutadiene was studied. Copolymer of maleic anhydride and 1-hexadecene as modifier was in use. Diffusion was shown to effect the modification process at lower temperatures in addition to kinetic factors.

Effect of Hydrodynamic Motion Mode of the Reaction Mixture on the Thermomechanical Properties of Copolymers of Butadiene and Isoprene – Zakharov V.P., Mingaleev V.Z., Zakharova E.M., Zakirova I.D. (P 8 )
Method of copolymerization of butadiene and isoprene in presence of a titanium catalyst system at formation of the reaction mixture in pre-reactor tube of turbulent confuser-diffuser design is suggested. Presence of turbulence results in the change of microstructure of copolymer. As a result both glass transition temperature and temperature of flow of copolymers of 20% and 40% butadiene content became lower in average on 14 and 9○C respectively.

Possibility of regulating of the strength and wear resistance of rubber based polymer friction materials by addition polymethylene-p-threephenyl ester of boric acid without changing of the basic technology of composites is shown. The increase in temperature resistance of the modified friction compositions is established.

The effect of fluoro-organic compounds on the properties of the elastomer compositions based on BNK are studied. The incorporation of modifying additives improves the heat resistance, resistance to the action of the liquid hydrocarbon medium, the abrasion resistance and reduce the relative compression set.

Effect of various antioxidants contained in BNR on properties of oil resistant rubbers is studied. Properties of rubber containing Naftam-2 and Novantoks 8 PFDA as antioxidants are similar to properties of rubbers containing Wingstey-29 and Octolite-544CF.

Contact angles of water and NR latex on the surfaces of Shungite and other minerals were measured and the values of the surface tension calculated. Viscosity of Shungite-latex composition was estimated. The possibility to prepare the high-filled stable compositions based on NR latex and Shungite is shown.

Approximation of movement of wet rubber taking into account the sliding of the material in the discharged channel of the screw drying extruder is proposed. Results are compared with the experimental data on drying and extruding of the thermoplastic elastomer DST-30.

Optimization of Elastic Strain Parameters of Tire Parts with the Use of Rubber Composition-Property Relationships – Soloviev M.E., Mazin A.V., Kapustin A.A., Karanets A.O. (P. 50)
A set of empirical functions is proposed to adequately describe the dependencies of the parameters of nonlinear elastic properties of general-purpose rubbers. The calculated sets of parameters were used in numerical tire simulation including static loading, footprint analysis and also in design optimization procedures.

Modeling of the Kinetics of Evaporation of a Mixture of Flame Retardants from Rubber – Dedov A.V., Nazarov V.G. (P. 54)
Efficiency of the application of the well-known model for forecasting of evaporation of a mixture of flame retardants in rubber has been studied. The model is designed to predict the rate of evaporation, determined by the diffusion of ingredients in rubber. The model is limited by the change of temperature and content of the ingredient in the process of evaporation. As a result, the limiting stage of the process and the appearance of the equations of the model is changed.
