On Effect of Catalyst System Composition on Properties of Cis-1,4-Polybutadiene Modified by Maleic Anhydride and 1-Hexadecene Copolymer – Akhmetov I.G., Kubanov K.M., Fazilova D.R., Vagizov A.M. (P. 4 )

Composition of maleic anhydride and 1-hexadecene copolymer is used for 1,4-cis-polybutadiene modification synthesized by neodymium catalyst system with various active centers content. Increase of "active" neodymium amount in catalyst system results in increase of modification efficiency.

Data have been presented on the activity of catalyst systems based on 2-ethylhexyl phosphate, neodecanoate and gadolinium chloride in the reactions of isoprene polymerization, as compared with similar neodymium catalysts. Particular attention was focused on polyisoprene molecular mass characterization and relationships between crystallization and microstructure.

The diffusion activity of phospholipid concentrate as modifier of synthetic polyisoprene was stadied. Modifier diffusion into the matrix rubber under static conditions in a short time period is shown. The diffusion coefficients of low molecular weight components of rubber compounds in the phospholipid concentrate were measured. The higher solubility of these components in the modifier than in polyisoprene was found.

On the Problem of Optimizing of the Vulcanization Stage of Injection Molding of Rubber Goods – Baranov A.V., Dakhin O.Kh. (P. 28 )

An attempt to develop a methodology for optimizing of the vulcanization stage of injection molding of rubber goods is presented. Methodology is based on the mathematical model of transient heat conduction with temperature-dependent thermal properties. Diagrams of the main technological parameters of the vulcanization stage and its connection with the previous stages of plasticizing and injection have been developed.

The Role of Carbon Black in the Formation of Rubber Properties under Harmonic Dynamic Loading – Razdyakonova G.I., Strizhak E.A., Maratkanova E.A., Adyaeva L.V. (P. 36 )

Effect of the presence of oxygen on the surface of carbon fillers on the mechanical properties of rubber is studied by dynamic mechanical analyzer. Increase of tgδ at 1000 Hz and 0 °C of rubbers based on SBR with increase of oxygen content on the surface of the carbon filler is found. It opens the possibility to adjust the properties of rubbers for tires and other rubber products in the desired direction.

Analysis of the cause of the difference between properties of tread compounds based on butadiene copolymers with ester units and analogous copolymers without such units is presented.
